I will visit Phuket on my next trip.. Would be nice to get some good advice about LB-friendly hotels in Patong. I know some hotels charge alot for nightly guests. I use to spend around 1000-2000 baht per night for hotel.

Have a nice day

I stayed at the Patong Villa, and found the location great.

The place was guest friendly, and I had no problem returning home with a different ladyboy each night !

Have heard plenty of positive feedback regarding "The Place to Stay" too.

Stayed in both places. The Patong Villa is a nice location and good pool but reception were rude and uncooperative. My bed was 2 beds pushed together so I left after 2 nights. Also the air con was not very good.

Place to Stay is good value but no pool but good locattion and you can even get wireless from the cafe over the road in room 2. Tom is a nice guy and knows the local scene well. There are many hotels locally as like the C&N which are good value for money.

:D Salathai just of Bangla Road is right in the thick of the action. No problem with one guest and any more is 500 baht which is a fair price.

Well run, clean, safe and what i call good value. I usually pay 1500 baht but they advertsie 2500 baht. Haggle in the off season(April-Oct) and you will get a good price if they have space.

They are popular now but a good gang of folk hang out here and you won't be dissapointed.

P.S Good to see you Ozzie:cool:I always enjoy your posts.
