I am a man who likes a good Tequila but found most places in Thailand all had the same dirty sock water from place to place. I was in Nana waiting for the girlfriend at Big Dogs.
Since she was going to be a while, I remembered I saw some place called "The Tequila Bar" about a block away when we were there days before. So I set out to find it again.
It is about 2 blocks from Nana Entertainment complex which is handy. To be exact:
Rajah Hotel Complex
Sukhumvit SOI 4
Just inside the alley.
Anyway came in and saw at least 20 Tequilas on the shelf, and they didn't even carry the crap that the other bars used. Right away I asked for my favourite which is Cabo Wabo (Yeah Sammy), but they did not have that one. So I started with a Silver Patron.
I also tried the Patron Resposado and a couple others. Also had one drink of some that was 1000 baht a drink, it was ok but there was much cheaper I liked.

Nice small quiet air conditioned place with a pool table.
They even will let you smoke which I think is not usually allowed in enclosed bars like that.
Talked with Eddie the owner and he said before he got the place it only had one kind of Tequila yet still had the same name. He changed that and got as many kinds as he could. He was responsible for having another dozen brands of Tequila introduced into the Thai liquor control system, or whatever it is there.

No ladyboys here but played pool and sat with a real cutie named Ya.
All the ladys were extremely nice and accomodating.

Of course you are only 2 blocks from lady boy heaven anyway so definitely a good place to drop in for a good nip.

The best Tequila bar is the one in Soi Crocodile in Phuket although not sure about the quality of the tequila but the ladyboy's are definately worth going for.

Craig... next time you go to that bar ask for the mescal! (Then hobble through the car park to The Guess Bar!)

I went to Tequila once as I was driving from Oaxaca to Mexico City.

Damn it's a run down seedy dump! Looked like a film set from an old Western!

I suppose Guess bar is close, even better.

Don't know about drinking Mezcal it's a little harder on me.
Generally I stick to the pure Blue Agave stuff, kind of like Single Malt Scotch.
