Litas Bar is 30 Yds down Soi BJ. Soi BJ is off Walking St, opposite Blue Ice Bar. It is a small and intimate bar with airconditioning and short time facilities on site. It is open most of the night and is where a lot of late night LBs go to look for customers.

It has about 10 full time ladyboys employed there with about 15 freelancers as well.

The ladyboys there are attentive without being pushy.

It has the very best music selection in town played over a quality sound system. Challenge Lita’s husband, called Karl, to find a piece of music that he hasn’t got!

Litas has been closed for the last couple of days.

I finally managed to catch up with Karl, the owner.

He told me that a couple of days ago, Lita was threatened by a couple of Mafia type guys who are involved in local protection rackets.

At the time Karl was away. Lita made the decision to cut loose and get the hell out of it. She packed up and closed within 8 hours.

The bar will be a serious loss to the guys who like LBs. It was a good place to chill, with fine music and a great atmosphere.

So where have Litas girls gone? Not sure but I bet Jay Arthur can find out!!

Actually, a lot of the girls from Lita's have moved to Tornado Bar on Soi 6. I was in there early last night, so I didn't get to see the full line up.

Tornado bar used to be owned by Karl of Litas Bar.

I will get back there and see if its a bar worthy of its own thread.

Certainly a shame to see Lita's bar close it's doors prematurely. :(

This place was the perfect venue for a few drinks after midnight, particularly when you needed a few moments to gather your thoughts, away from the hustle & bustle of Walking Street.

Karl's music collection had become legendary, and the assortment of LB's on offer wasn't too shabby either.

Will be interesting to see what does happen with the 'space' we all enjoyed as Lita's Bar ?

I was in Litas tonight. There are so many rumours as to whether it was open or half open, I went to find out for myself.

Firstly, it was open, with about 6 of her regular girls present including Far. Dada, Pancake and others whose names I forget.

Lita told me that the bar is for sale at 1.3 million Baht. She gave me details of the profitability of the bar and information on her costs. I am no businessman but it seemed a very sound and profitable business.

The big issue on Thai bar ownership is always whether you want the lifestyle that it often imposes. Drinking with customers, socializing, listening to great music, and constantly surrounded by gorgeous ladyboys.:D:D

On the downside- lack of sleep- drinking too much- having to deal with customers like me. :eek:

And the other bit of info was that Tornado bar on Soi 6 , where a lot of Litas girls went, has closed its doors today. I am told its for rennovation BUT. :confused: Watch this space.

I just had it confrmed that Litas has closed its doors permanently- until of course there is a new owner. This bar is a real bargain and a money earner.
